Ginseng Ficus 'Nitida'

The Fukinagashi style
Windswept style

The Fukinagashi style, meaning 'wind in the branches' in Japanese, is characterized by twisted, inclined, and irregularly deformed branches, giving the tree the appearance of struggling against strong mountain winds. The branches of the Fukinagashi can be inclined in different directions, creating a chaotic yet harmonious appearance.

The leaves or needles of the Fukinagashi bonsai are chaotically arranged along the branches, giving the impression that the wind has randomly dispersed the leaves. This style aims to capture the aesthetics of nature in motion, where elements seem subjected to natural forces.

The result is a bonsai that appears to have been shaped by the elements, with swirling branches and a leaf or needle arrangement that evokes the effect of the wind. It is a unique style that attracts attention with its natural and dynamic look.
