Beautiful ixora in a rare color. Very thick trunk. Chris said this trunk was 40 years old. It’s in a training pot with a mix of moss and other stuff and needs to be repotted in 100 percent kutama.
7/14/26 - repotted into larger round pot in mix of akadama pumice lava and kunama. Found entire trunk stuffed with import clay holding a lot of dead roots. Smelled rotted like oyster or seawater. Removed as much as I could which left mostly what looked like heavy wooden trunk with some fine white roots on one side. Should likely add mychorzical powder to encourage rooting. Included biogold. Held off on anything but one or two snips for pruning until it recovers well.
