The Kabudachi style
Multi-trunk style

The Kabudachi style in bonsai is characterized by multiple trunks or stems emerging from the same root. These trunks are often twisted and knotty, giving the tree a picturesque and complex appearance. The trunks can be of varying heights, thus creating an interesting visual contrast.

The branches of the Kabudachi bonsai are generally short in relation to the height of the trunks, and they grow from different heights along the trunks. This creates a dense and lush silhouette. The leaves or needles are small and plentiful, covering the branches and trunks with luxuriant foliage.

The Kabudachi style is often used to represent mature trees in nature, with multiple trunks that have survived harsh conditions over time.
