Very good root system, however a compact round ball with very woody roots. Took me a long time to cut trhough the tough root plate to make it flat. Nice root flare and rotting core. With branches coming this will be a beautiful bonsai. Good conicity. Double trunk can be air layered.
Soil 40% akadama, 40% grit acer root over rock, 20% kanuma.
