Ice Cream Banana Tree Live Plant (Blue Java) - Musa acuminata × balbisiana. a hardy, cold-tolerant banana cultivar known for its sweet, vanilla-custard-like fruit with a creamy texture, often compared to vanilla ice cream. Native to Southeast Asia, the plant features large, silvery-green leaves and produces bluish-tinted bananas before they ripen, making it a popular ornamental plant as well as a delicious fruit source. It thrives in full sun, moist, well-drained soil, and can be grown in containers or the ground, with some varieties hardy to around 20°F.
