The Moyogi style
Informal Upright Style

The Moyogi style in bonsai is characterized by its natural and informal appearance. The trunk may display gentle curves or subtle movements, distinguishing it from the strictly straight trunks of other styles. The branches of the Moyogi bonsai are arranged in an irregular manner, creating a relaxed and organic look.

The leaves or needles of the Moyogi bonsai vary in size and are generally arranged asymmetrically along the branches, further enhancing the tree's natural appearance. The roots of the Moyogi bonsai are well developed and can sometimes be visible at the base of the trunk, adding to its charm.

The Moyogi style aims to replicate the appearance of trees found in nature, with their imperfections and organic movements. It is a style that offers great artistic freedom in the design of bonsais.
